I sometimes miss my film camera, I knew it so well that I never had to think about the photos I was taking, they just happened. I still have one of the bodies, a Minolta XG-1, and a bunch of lenses for it, but I use my new Nikon D70s for everything now. I really should take some lessons, improve my skills, make better photos. (I now have a Nikon D300, and have had for a while. It, to me, is almost the perfect camera, doing pretty much everything that I have ever wanted to do.)

I don't like shooting people, and especially don't like posed shots. Candid shots and "still life" is what I prefer. (My opinion here has changed too, and would love to learn a little more about "street" photography, shooting strangers on the street, or even learning a bit more about random people shooting.)

I am becoming rather amazed how fast people are looking at my photos now, I can't even finish uploading them and I find that there are a view or two already. Are my tags that good or is it my photos that are getting the attention?
