By way of an introduction this is a little about me. I’ve been interested in photography since school days. A mate bought a Nikon EM and I was immediately hooked, my first camera was a Cosina CT 1G which was a great little camera to learn with. It did everything it was supposed to do… apart from turn me into a decent photographer! After college I ended up working as a medical photographer (in the mid eighties), I still look back on this as a really good training and basis in the technical aspects of photography and I was lucky to have worked with some incredibly able and talented people. In my twenties my love for photography grew and I photographed everything from people to bands to travel, all a great adventure and all on film.

To fast forward many years I have only re-discovered photography in a big way in the last two years and am a born-again digital enthusiast. Digital photography has rekindled that early passion that I had for photography and I feel lucky to have encountered so many inspiring and talented people on Flickr.

I realise that my photography still has a long way to go but I’m certainly enjoying the journey!

To summarise all in the above, if you've got this far. I am a short, bald person who is passionate about photography and who never ceases to be amazed at the talents displayed here on Flickr. My motto if I had one at all, "hurt no one and be as creative as you can be".

For those interested I currently use a Canon 40D, it still amazes me with all it can do.

I do like interaction, criticism and observations so am always open to conversation and suggestions.

I am absolutely addicted to Flickr, photography and good and interesting photographers.
