I was born in Melbourne Australia in 1952 and I live in Brisbane Australia. I am interested in railway systems. In particular passenger trains. I like rail motor cars and mixed freight/passenger trains, narrow gauge, and urban transit.

My first overseas trip was in 1974. I traveled by ship from Melbourne to Mexico. Then I traveled 11,000 miles by train around the US before boarding another ship in Florida for Melbourne via England and South Africa. I returned to the US in 1974, 1976, 1977 and 1980. I have also been to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand. My family and I went to the South Island of New Zealand in January 2008.

Further to the above, I have a great deal of interest in historic and current tramway systems in Australia and worldwide.

I worked for the Victorian Railways from 1967 till 1970 and the NSW railways from 1971 untilll 1988.

I am now retired, and I intend to travel within Queensland and interstate plus a few overseas tris.

My interests include rail motors, australian railways, passenger trains, narrow gauge.
I did a trip to Britain in August 2010 and I traveled on the narrow gauge trains in Wales.

Although I have a number of Yahoo Groups, I found the Flickr groups are far better.

To access my FLICKR GROUPS, click on PROFILE and scol down to the groups. Just click on the link and then on join group and confirm that by clicking OK, after the box comes up.

I like some of the 1960's TV shows such as "The Addams Family", "Get Smart", "Star Trek" and the "Outer Limits".

"This man has a wide interest in transport of the world and has travelled at lot, especially to the USA, he images capture a passing parade of transport; now as is a family man he tries to keep up-to-day. I am amazed at his near death experiences; he is still with us, and remains keen with many images."
