"I have never met Tracie Taylor. I do not know what her voice sounds like. I do not know how tall she is and I know neither her age nor whether she prefers red wine or white; nor do I know if she drinks anything at all. In short, I know nothing.
Yet, I know her as an artist as intimately as anyone can, even living on opposite coasts and even without ever having been in the same state at the same time. I know her because she reveals herself through her pictures again and again, whether on her professional website or on the pages of Flickr. She projects herself through her brides and through her beautiful daughters and through her awesomely captivating self-portraits. She lets me in to explore what she is thinking and feeling so that I am able to think it and feel it with her. And what I learn about myself while wandering around inside her world has helped me see and define things in my own world that are broken and in need of mending or are healthy and in need of smiles. Inside her world I see an image and it seems to see me back and speak to me with wisdom and understanding. She touches my soul.
Tracie is an artist in the purest sense. She can evoke an emotion in me and she can open my eyes to new personal circles and thoughts of love and peace, of hope and heartache, of patience and insight. Her expertise in her craft leads to those revelations in her art. Her craft gives her art its bones and her art gives her craft its reason for being.
Tracie has helped me at a time of crisis and she does not even know what that crisis is. I will forever be grateful for that and she has my unqualified admiration and my most heartfelt friendship. Maybe, someday, I will be given the privilege of helping her, or someone else, in return. I'd like that.

"One of TT's shots was one of the first photos that I had ever fave'd when I was still a Flickr newbie. Even then, I was awestruck by her talent and her knack of making stunning works of art. As time went by and her beautiful stream of work continued to pour out, I was progressively more and more impressed (though I didn't think it was possible) by her high level of quality, creativity, talent, and passion for her work.

However, her talent isn't the most amazing thing about her.
