John-Paul is originally from a small, far northern town in British Columbia, Canada in what some would argue to be the coldest place in the universe. Unfortunately, there is no argument; it is the coldest place in the universe.

Even the alluringly deep powder of the local ski resort and soft, unionised job at the nearby hydroelectric generating station was not enough to prevent him from relocating to the warmer climes of New Zealand. Although nobody told him that a hooded sweatshirt and thick, woollen socks were the clothing requisite to comfortably exist indoors during the winter.

Having a watchmaker for father an artist for a mother has always placed him on the median of balancing creative aspirations with technical capability. Over the past decade he has made a concerted effort to develop skills and pursue education that would allow him to make forays into the world of 3D design (a natural offshoot of his heavy experience with CAD/vector based software) and pursue his dream of producing electronic music to compliment personal photographic works.

Recent forays into coded digital imagery and physical computing have made him realise that a merger of the technical and creative worlds is possible. It is in this realm of mixed media where his future output lies.
