? is ToRo
A dream, perhaps a relative one, perhaps not - we still want to remain undefined. We began as five creatures immersed in academia, carefully plotting our exit strategies. The recipe called for cake, lots (and lots) of carrots (read: incentives) and a tub of embellished ice cream - to keep our thirst for eye-candy down to a more manageable level. Once the strawberries arrived and our time in the idea-generating sandbox timed-out, we parked our disappointments for what could have been, if only, and started to create by gluing sticks together using our it-only-works-on-the-weekends spontaneous imagination. Now, we’re a realistic bunch, a real cataclysmic few, on a mission to save the world from its obsession with recycling… everything. And because of this state of constant dehydration, we have and continue (probably until our false teeth fake their own death), showcase and nurture art, (warning, academia ahead) howsoever defined. It’s simple, in theory; but this bedspread is not just a place onto which the narrative can exist, but also a feature presentation of why the interaction between the artists who create art and the enthusiasts who consume it, is actually iNTEGRAL, with an italicized “i” for emphasis, to the promotion of spontaneity, creativity, outrageousness, outright dementia, maniacal belligerency (of the really fluffy and contained-or-even-contangeous kind), gossiping and, well, you get the BIGger IDEA.
Our not-for-profit purpose is to promote creative expressions, as they originate from a wide gamut of cultural spaces, sources and environments. And as a result, we encourage all artists to contact the ToRo for additional information on how your creative endeavours, projects, creations, ideas (etc?), can be included in, or as part of one of our future events. For detailed information on what has been scheduled moving forward, please visit our events page; additional specifics can be requested by contacting us at office@toroartsgroup.com.
Go on - do the ToRo.
