Describe myself? Hmmm....

I'm not in anyway a so-called real photographer, no. Far from it. Just another hobbyist I would say. I've tried variety styles of photography like scenery(landscapes), close-ups, some portraits etc, etc...

Mostly, like any other people including myself, started photography by using a point and shoot cameras. Doesn't matter if its a film or digital. My very first experience to use a camera is when I was about 7 years old. Its was a cheap film camera. Of course at that time I have no shit ideas about how to use it properly and always got scolded by my parents. If my memory serves me correctly, I was the one who got hold the camera a lot more than my siblings and even my parents! I might have a strong interest at electronic devices...maybe lah..

Then I bought my very first digital point and shoot(BenQ DC C840) in July 2006 after a long usage of film camera and camera phone, and almost four years later, a brand new digital single-lens reflex a.k.a DSLR comes into my collections in December 2009: The Canon EOS 450D. A bit old modeled I must say though but, naah...who cares..It suited me just fine... Although sometimes I wish it has the environmental resistant feature at least...

By having these equipments in my possession is a huge responsibility and somewhat a bit challenging. Gotta learn a lot about them: their behaviors, lots of studying, lots of experimenting and so on. A very slow process It could take awhile and it continues. The internet has the ultimate sources of info about how I can fully understand what I can do best for my equipments/gears. Really helpful!

Well, there is a lot of catching up to do. I still have a very looooooong way to go in photography, I know. I don't intend to take shortcuts because there's none, obviously. But the best part is, it'll be fun while getting there as we learn something new on the way.

A gentle reminder: All contents in this flickr photo-stream are personal property of the flickr owner, me, unless otherwise stated. And while I-could-lived-with-it that my photography works are not that good(pretty bad actually), it shall not be reproduce in any kind of way without strict condition and strict permission from me, the original and rightful owner. I’ve seen my stolen photos being used/reproduced elsewhere online and it can be frustrating when some people didn’t realize how much work has gone into one photo and they can steal it just like that.
