I am currently working as an intern reporter at The Star-Banner in Ocala, Fla. - a New York Times Company Regional Newspaper - where I write city news, centerpieces, events news and features.

I have worked as a staff writer for The Daily Tar Heel reporting on UNC news on the University Desk and the Town of Carrboro Board of Aldermen on the City Desk

I volunteer at a Christian nonprofit missions organization called Youth With a Mission.

My favorite places include Boston, Mass.; the Swedish island of Gotland; Stockholm, Sweden; Liepaja, Latvia; Riga, Latvia; and Guadalajara, Mexico.
