I am an amateur photographer. I have always been around cameras since I can remember. My father was big into photography. I remember him having a dark room set up in our little apartment bathroom. He used to yell at me when I would open the door while he was exposing his film. I also remember having an enlarger in my closet. I never really took the time to know how his equipment worked which has lead me to digital photography. I have had a few different photography courses but i am still no professional. My best practice is going out on my own and figuring out the art of photography myself, which has lead you here. Enjoy.

I shoot all of my photos with my recently acquired Nikon D40. I have the 18-55mm kit lens along with a 55-200mmVR lens that my girlfriend bought me for Christmas. I also have a Nikon SB600 Speedlite that is my main source of flash. I have a few other bits and pieces like a remote shutter release, a few tripods, lots of memory cards and camera maintenance equipment, all of which I carry in my LowePro AW300 Slingpack. I know, thats alot of equipment to carry, but I have recently made photography my first hobby.
