Hi!

I'm an enthusiastic photographer and love to look at things through the lens.. Hope you enjoy my pictures and feel free to comment in constructive manner...

I'm constantly busy taking or editing pictures, so I'm in constant lack of time to spend on-line but I do my best. Don't hesitate to contact me in flickr, facebook or Saatchi Online.

My software tools of choice for processing pictures:

- Silkypix. In my opinion this is the best software for the basic adjustments. Very intuitive, fast and easy to use while you get used to it's slightly non-standard user interface. I've also tried Adobe Lightroom but it felt too complex and non-intuitive to me, didn't come even close to the feel of Silkypix. My verdict: "Photoediting tool I couldn't live without anymore.."

- Photoshop. I try to use Photoshop as little as possible to my photographs. My most favourite tools and functions are: "Merge to HDR" for it's usually better quality in aligning the exposures in comparison to other HDR-tools, painting in 32-bit mode to remove possible unwanted artifacts, "Distortion" to correct the geometrics in 32-bit if needed, "Shadows/Highlights" in 16-bit mode when nothing else works in order to get the levels right.
My verdict: "De-facto photoeditor for the last 20 years. Too little progress in that time though aka a bit of a dinosaur or a prisoner of it's nearly monopoly status in the market.."

- Photomatix. The best overall HDR-program, has plenty to hope for though.. "Details Enhancer" is quite nice to experiment with while "Tone Compressor" is pretty straight forward help in controlling the levels, and "Exposure Blend" has plenty of potential especially in landscapes with bright skies and dark grounds. After hundreds and hundreds of photos edited I've already started to feel quite confident and comfortable with this app. My verdict: "Easy to start with, but somewhat difficult to master properly.."
