I have been retired a couple of years and trying to improve my photography skills.

I am somewhat new to flikr and am still navigating my way through the features. I have tried some other sites but was disappointed in the lack of "community” among the members. I am impressed with the amount and quality of activity on flikr.

Someone said a photographer’s worst critic was him/her self. It's good to have someone else look at my "stuff" and I truly appreciate the comments from several people on my initial postings. Do not hesitate to offer criticism and / or suggestions for improvement.

I enjoy photographing about anything involving nature, landscapes, buildings and our grandchildren. We are fortunate to live in eastern North Carolina where there is an abundance of all of this except the mountains and waterfalls.
