I'm primarily a writer in my "day job," and much of my creative work has taken that form over the years. Photography is my visual medium of choice, for numerous reasons. There is poetry behind and within and between things, all over the place, and I like to look for it.

My photostream is a mishmash of efforts, a scattered record of progress and practice, infested with a lot of good and bad photos of my wee son and a number of dorky self-portraits. If you've the patience to dig through the work I'm sharing here, I salute you and appreciate the attention. Please feel free to write if you've got questions about any of it, or if you're friendly and groovey and just want to say hi.

And now for the less pleasant bits: All images in my stream, unless noted otherwise, are copyrighted by me and all rights are reserved. Please don't try to steal my images, you punks. If you would like to use something you see in my stream, please contact me at tomato.sutra@gmail.com and we'll work something out.

Also: if you have no photostream and an empty profile, and you add one of my photos to your favorites or to a gallery, I will most likely block you, because there's no evidence that I can trust your motive. I also tend to delete comments that include images or widgets.
