You know when you stub your toe or hammer your thumb you say "Argh!"? That's how it's pronounced, Tom Argh! Apparently some folks think it's a strange name.

People have started to add my pictures to their list of favourites, thanks, it feels lovely. I always have a look at your photographs when you do this and if I see that you have nothing available for me to view you get blocked, immediately, because it's rude to take something without offering a little in return, sorry.

Now look, before you ask, my buddy icon thingy is wearing a woolly hat because it was cold, not because I don't have hair and not because I am one of those compulsive beanie types..... Got a new picture, it has hair.

I always thought of my pictures and the idea of putting them online was a way of showing the world through my eyes, I spotted there was a group so named recently as well. Trouble is, I actually see it rather differently to how it gets captured. So this is the world according to my camera, some of them speak for themselves and some might seem out of place but do feel free to comment - don't be shy - because, although a little elusive from time to time I enjoy having a chat.

I often worry about seeming rude, but, do you know I kind of prefer it if you don't do those bulk invitations. I no longer feel rude! I'm free!! I generally ignore group invitations without hesitation. One of my contacts once had one comment containing 53 invitations, that's just rude, do that to me and I'll mock you and then delete your comment.
If you think a photo really belongs in a particular interest group just tell me, and then I'll look at the group and see if I feel worthy! Oh, and if I have to invite somebody in return for accepting, er, [shifts nervously foot to foot] it's likely that I'm not going to be in a position to accept Ditto above, it strikes me that it's a bit like link exchanges and you don't want to get me started on those...

I mainly take the pictures for my own amusement, if they appeal to other people then that really is a bonus, I'm open to constructive criticism so please, do feel free to tell me something bad about a picture, really.

If you're here because I commented on one of your pictures and you don't know me, I do tend to wander around a little and when suitably inspired will probably type a little. I'm often to be found in Eveyone's photos just wandering around looking for something to take my fancy.

You won't find much in my favourites as I don't seem to add many, trouble is, a 'nice picture' isn't likely to be my idea of a 'fave'. Rather pompously, I'd like to think I'm 'arty' . Stop laughing, this is my page - bugger off and scoff elsewhere!

Also, can I just add, that I still don't fully get Flickr yet.
I get it! Okay, I use it to show you my pictures.
Some people use it just the same way but there's also a temptation to curry favour and have a little ego trip, don't get me wrong, I love it when a whole bunch of people like something I've submitted, I get a lovely warm glow and I want it for the next submission too. Some folks, however, need it more and more and post inane comments, inane invitations for groups that demand payment in kind.
This fellow is the king, or at least aiming to be, Roberto Carboni; I won't offer a link to him, but here's a link to a group dedicated to his comments...

Don't let me end up like that. Please.

81% nerd Geek and disturbingly proud of it! I described myself as Geeky recently and now feel bad that this is actually a nerd score. Would it be more geeky or nerdy to go and google the difference? Hmm, tricky. I'm going to distill my research down to the line that a Geek is a Nerd with social skills...

I'm Male and Geeky it would appear.
