than a camera lens
your pictures capture
lifes essence
poetic photographic
make sense
in a world of hatred
where minds are dense
you show reality
as surrealistic suspense
faces within faces
sad and tense
giving a pound of wisdom
for every pence
pictures that mend
a broken fence
your contributiion
to american photography
solidly immense
no nonsense
as a photographer
as a poet
I say this to you
in your defense
your pictures
are soulful scriptures
