Tom Mooradian conducts speaking engagements across the United States, Canada, and Europe, regarding his personal involvement in the Armenian Repatriation effort of the 1940's.

In his book, "The Repatriate" Tom chronicles his 13 years behind the Iron Curtain, his run-ins with the KGB, and credits his career as a national basketball star as the prime saving grace that spared him from a death-sentence in Siberia.

Tom has received numerous Michigan Press Association writing awards for articles and columns; special tributes from the State Senate, State House of Representatives and Certificates of Recognition from the Wayne County Commission, Cities of Wayne, Westland, Inkster, Belleville, Romulus, and Van Buren, Sumpter and Canton Townships for his excellence in journalism.
