Currently setting up as an architectural photographer whilst also carry out written and research assignments and my own projects in photography and printmaking. I am interested in focusing on Architectural subjects where my working knowledge in this area informs my photography.

In 2008 I entered Glasgow Institute of Architects photography competition and won the Social Landscape category.

The urban and built environment often forms my inspiration, especially the overlooked, forgotten and neglected spaces or perhaps the everyday normaility of city life and social landscape.

There is a story to every image, and a certain truth or atmosphere which is what photography is about to me, using composition light and colour to communicate.

Rock and Roll never lets me down and often picks me up -that is why i am trying to bring this into my work.

Breathe it in and let it out - looking around is good.

Happy accidents and magic moments.
