I live in lovely Portland, Oregon, and have been enjoying this adventure called life since 1965. Thus far it’s been beautiful, strange, terrible, amazing, heartbreaking, awe inspiring, and full of love. Honestly, I’m just trying to pay attention, appreciate as much of it as I can, keep up… and live fully.

I use, primarily, a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. Once in awhile I'll also use a Canon Powershot SD750 or even the camera on my phone. I post pretty much everything I take which means some of the photos here are pretty good and some, well, not as good. I tend to like most of them, even those that are a bit rough, just for what they are, hence their inclusion here. After all, it's seeing beauty everywhere and taking pictures that brings joy , not so much getting that perfect result. Though, don't get me wrong, when at last it happens, the shot that turns out close to exactly as I imagined, I'm absolutely thrilled. The rest of them... they got me there.

Lastly, I have another website other than the one listed below. It's called
image - ination and is the place where I post a new photo a day. I started mid December 2007 and am continuing every day for at least a year.
