I am a San Francisco-based artist. I enjoy photography and work from many of my photos when painting.

My artwork has two focuses. Mixed media collage and painting.

In January 2001 I started using maps exclusively in my collage work. Within a short time, maps became the main medium in my collage work. Much of the work takes it’s inspiration from other traditional art forms using repetitive patterns, in particular quilts and other textiles. Recently my collage work has started to take on a more painterly appearance.

When I paint, my main focus is Western landscape. I spend as much time as possible on desert travel seeking inspiration.
