Over 90 years ago Calvary Baptist Church was built by determimed individuals despite the painful conditions of racial segregation. Today, the building stands as a monument to the people, pride, and promise of Kansas African Americans. TKAAM is more than just a building that houses historical artifiacts and exhibits, it is a museum dedicated to bridging the gap of understanding between cultures.
