I won't state the obvious -- I love taking pictures (whoops, there I went). I also love spreading the word about Flickr and recruiting others to sign up so I can see their work as well as share my own.

My passion in the summer is taking shots of birds, other animals, landscapes, and any kind of out-of-doors stuff. Recently a friend pointed out the strobist group, and I've gotten really excited about off-camera flash. I enjoy taking pictures of my kids, and was never really happy with the results from an on-camera flash. Maybe this can help fix that for me. Not to mention, now I have a reason to pick up my camera more in the winter months.

Thanks to all who have commented on any of the pictures I have posted. I really appreciate it. I know I don't post enough on other people's but that certainly doesn't mean I'm not checking them out and loving them.
