I was born in Lebanon and lived in Belgium most of my life before coming to the US in January 2001.
I had tinkered somewhat with my dad's old Pentax film camera (which i still play with from time to time) but it wasn't until 2003 that my interest in photography truly sparked again. I bought a prosumer Canon G3 and shot away. That now belongs to my wife, as i moved on to Canon's 350D (XT) and more recently to a Canon 1D Mk III. I then got myself a couple of Canon's L series lenses (the 24-70 and the 70-200 IS).
