I joyned Flickr in 2005, and I have learned a lot from looking at at the pictures taken by the many skilled photographers here.
My favourite genres are streetshots and macros/close shots of flowers.
Most of my photos have been taken with my compact camera Canon PowerShot SD400. It's small and ligth so I can bring it everywhere. It also has a good macro function.
Some time ago I bought an SLR camera; Canon eos 500/Digital Rebel T1i. I have gotten to know it rather well now, so I will soon take the next step and buy a zoom tele lense, in additoin to the kit lense 18-55 mm.
