This site features wildlife and other images taken (most recently) with Canon 40D and Canon EF lens (mostly 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 IS). Images also recorded with a Sony DSC H-5 camera.

From sunrise to sunset you will find me hiking in our Local Forest Preserves, State Forest, and National Parks on my days off from work. It is my purpose and passion to make images of pristine beauty. In doing so, I hope to make a difference in this ever changing world, with the hope that mankind will return and reconnect and tune back to nature. I try to visualize, and incorporate into my photography, the way this great land may have looked like in the past, as if I was looking through the eyes of a Native American, prior to the arrival of the European settlers. My focus is to take pictures of wild and natural subjects. You will see from time to time, pictures of a personel nature that are important to me. Enjoy your visit! Come back often! Peace to all!

When I do comment back it will be because a particular photo caught my eye that I found to be beautiful, unique or interesting to me in some way.
