I started photography about one and a half years ago, from a friend who sold me his Nikon D70. I hesitated at first but I have always loved computer arts - graphic designing, 3D animation, Photoshop, etc. Even went to get a degree in Graphic Design at a College on top of my Computer Science degree in University, and worked as a graphic designer for 2 years. Yup, I can use alot of these skills in photography. But photography as a hobby? Hmmm ... it was distant in my mind. I had a Canon Powershot and I hardly used it.

My interest really bloomed in photography after I bought that DSLR. Not only have I bought more gears for my new found hobby, but I bring my slr camera with me everywhere. I love the quality of images it produces. I love the technicality in using it. I love the many lenses it can have to get the type of images you want. I love the depth of field in images you can create with this camera. I love the amount of artistic effect you can put in. And lots more! It is very much a craft that takes many years to master. And THAT is what got me into it. Loved photography ever since and I hope for many many many years to come.

I love taking portraits and landscapes / seascapes. Eventually I would like to add macros into my set of skills aswell. Need to get a macro lens first.
