"a real questioning, questing human being, heart on his sleeve and camera in his hand- one of Flickr's best"

zen says:
"Tim has a tactile ability to convey to me his sense of wonder and beauty in the world, and he's traveled all around it to find those big and little corners that are rich with contrast and composition. But there's more. His photos sometimes nibble on the edge of consciousness where the viewer is the subject and the photo is empty. No, not empty of scene-ry or things, but where the objects within the frame are less attached to meaning than most photos, somehow distanced from the other objects by space or color or something indefinable. I dare you to look through his rich and velvety photostream and not understand just a tiny bit more about your own isolation and separateness.
His is a vision I hold dear and try to foster in my own shots."28th May, 2006

"Tim's nickname is apt!
Colorstalker:
Yes, I believe he hunts stealthily, because when I see his prey, it is perfectly placed in his compositions. Tim uses color to make statements in his work, because it isn't about color for color's sake but the placment of the color in the whole scheme of things. I often see his work as a grasping for some sort of positive energy in a negative world. He is an artist of intellect and passion, one whom I admire!"9th October, 2005
