1 My name is Tim. I chose Fusty box because it describes my home, my old, old cameras ... and, to some extent, me

2 I live on two boats on the Grand Union Canal just north of London

3 On the night of 27 December 2003 I slipped and knocked myself senseless on the roof of my boat, as I fell I snapped a tendon in my right arm ... not sure how long I was dangling unconscious between my boats, waist deep in the freezing canal

4 I am a freelance illustrator. I make book jackets and magazine covers and do a little web design too. Photography plays an important part in my work ... and I do it for pleasure too

5 I joined flickr in July 08 to contact SophieLH. She had a photo on her stream which I needed for a book jacket ... I paid to use it

6 At work I am highly organized and really quite fast.

7 My home, my office, my car and my personal life are usually chaotic

8 I used to be a Sunday School teacher

9 I have been taking photographs since I was ten, I had a Zeiss Ikon instamatic which took square black and white photos

10 I hate being photographed, in photos I usually look inane or like a derelict

11 I do not intend to die alone on a cold, damp boat, There's a house by the water somewhere with my name on it

12 In my lifetime I have taken a variety of controlled substances. Now I do not

13 I still have a lock of hair given to me by my first girlfriend

14 My relationship with my children is the one I wish I'd had with my parents

15 I love good wine but drink far, far too much of the cheap stuff. When it's really cold outside I warm red wine on the stove 'til it's steaming

16 I have learned from my mistakes and am confident I could repeat them exactly
