(HEBREW NEW TESTAMENT) 1CORINTHIANS 1:25-1:29:
1Co 1:25 יען כי סכלות האל חכמה היא מאדם וחלשת האל חזקה היא מאדם׃
1Co 1:26 כי ראו־נא אחי את־קריאתכם שלא רבים החכמים מן־הבשר לא רבים השליטים לא רבים רמי היחש׃
1Co 1:27 כי אם־בסכל שבעולם בחר האל למען ביש את־החכמים ובחלוש שבעולם בחר האל למען ביש את־החזק׃
1Co 1:28 ובדלת העולם בחר האל ובנמאס ובאשר כאין למען בטל את אשר ישנו׃
1Co 1:29 כדי שלא־יתהלל לפניו כל־בשר׃


(I. S. V. BIBLE) 1CORINTHIANS 1:25-1:29:
1Co 1:25 For God's nonsense is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength.
1Co 1:26 Brothers, think about your own calling. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
1Co 1:27 But God chose what is nonsense in the world to make the wise feel ashamed. God chose what is weak in the world to make the strong feel ashamed.
1Co 1:28 And God chose what is insignificant in the world, what is despised, what is nothing, in order to destroy what is something,
1Co 1:29 so that no human being may boast in God's presence.

1Co 1:25 لأَنَّ جَهَالَةَ اللهِ أَحْكَمُ مِنَ النَّاسِ! وَضَعْفَ اللهِ أَقْوَى مِنَ النَّاسِ!
1Co 1:26 فَانْظُرُوا دَعْوَتَكُمْ أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ أَنْ لَيْسَ كَثِيرُونَ حُكَمَاءُ حَسَبَ الْجَسَدِ. لَيْسَ كَثِيرُونَ أَقْوِيَاءُ. لَيْسَ كَثِيرُونَ شُرَفَاءُ.
1Co 1:27 بَلِ اخْتَارَ اللهُ جُهَّالَ الْعَالَمِ لِيُخْزِيَ الْحُكَمَاءَ وَاخْتَارَ اللهُ ضُعَفَاءَ الْعَالَمِ لِيُخْزِيَ الأَقْوِيَاءَ
1Co 1:28 وَاخْتَارَ اللهُ أَدْنِيَاءَ الْعَالَمِ وَالْمُزْدَرَى وَغَيْرَ الْمَوْجُودِ لِيُبْطِلَ الْمَوْجُودَ
1Co 1:29 لِكَيْ لاَ يَفْتَخِرَ كُلُّ ذِي جَسَدٍ أَمَامَهُ.

1Co 1:25 Porque lo loco de Dios es más sabio que los hombres; y lo flaco de Dios es más fuerte que los hombres.
1Co 1:26 Porque mirad, hermanos, vuestra vocación: que no sois muchos sabios según la carne, no muchos poderosos, no muchos nobles;
1Co 1:27 antes lo que es la locura del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar a los sabios; y lo que es la flaqueza del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar lo fuerte;
1Co 1:28 y lo vil del mundo y lo menospreciado escogió Dios; y lo que no es, para deshacer lo que es,
1Co 1:29 para que ninguna carne se jacte en su presencia.


Jer 17:5 כה אמר יהוה ארור הגבר אשׁר יבטח באדם ושׂם בשׂר זרעו ומן־יהוה יסור לבו׃

World English Bible (Jeremiah 17:5):
Jer 17:5 Thus says Yahweh: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.

...Jer 17:7 ברוך הגבר אשׁר יבטח ביהוה והיה יהוה מבטחו׃
Jer 17:8 והיה כעץ שׁתול על־מים ועל־יובל ישׁלח שׁרשׁיו ולא ירא כי־יבא חם והיה עלהו רענן ובשׁנת בצרת לא ידאג ולא ימישׁ מעשׂות פרי׃

World English Bible (Jeremiah 17:7-17:8):
Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose trust Yahweh is.
Jer 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Psa 118:8 טוב לחסות ביהוה מבטח באדם׃
Psa 118:9 טוב לחסות ביהוה מבטח בנדיבים׃

Darby Bible (Psalm 118:8-118:9):
Ps 118:8 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man;
Ps 118:9 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.
