I'm a 23-year old student from Indiana, USA.

Photography has become a bit of an obsession for me. I bought my own digital camera 2 years ago, a Kodak point and shoot. I started my flickr several months after I got it and I've left everything I uploaded there. It's nothing special, I promise -- but I do occasionally find it interesting to look through photographers' work, from beginning to present, to see how their style and skill developed. As such, I leave everything as-is.

Almost a year after I got my P&S, I bought my first SLR. I picked up an old Minolta XD-11 with a couple lenses. Film has been an excellent learning tool for me, as well as an awesome medium to work with. Much of my photostream (May 08 - June 09) is film, from the Minolta and a few other cameras I have picked up and let go.

So, around a year after I bought the XD-11, I have just bought my first dSLR (June 09), a Nikon D200. I'm very much enjoying this camera. I still plan on shooting some film, but I wanted something a little easier and more flexible on the fly. I would often get stuck with a beautiful sunset and have something like B&W film loaded, or get into a low-light situation with 100 speed slide film.
