Thomas De Cian is an indipendent photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand. He was born in Italy and studied journalism in Australia. After graduating, his passion for photography brought him to Southeast Asia and he's been living in the region since 2002
His black and white reportages focus on social issues and want to show the sheer humanity that lies behind even the most unusual an desperate situations. It is in these very situations that the stenght and the instinct of survival come out: by contrast men reveal ther most human side and can even find the time for a moment of happiness.
Thomas is currently living in Bangkok.
