  - Thomas Briscola ha anche un difetto. Ha fotografato il mio matrimonio e, dopo 3 anni, non mi ha ancora fatto avere le foto !!! (50% della colpa è mia e di mia moglie per vicissitudini varie).

  "What I see in Thomas’ images is someone with an incredibly observant eye. I imagine that he must take photos “in his mind” when he just pops down to the shops, and he uses the Rolleiflex and Hasselblad with such absolute certainty that I have started thinking that maybe he was born with square, 80mm eyes. He is a master with colour and light but above all I admire the perfect compositional balance of his photos. Often he brings the elements together and balances them, as it were, on a knife’s edge; take one small element out, and the whole thing stops humming. I see in Thomas’ images an often humorous observer, but someone who always maintains a genuine interest and respect for his subject matter. Thomas’ photographs are, to my mind, fine art with a wonderful sense of freedom that never encroaches on the viewer's interpretation."
