Thinking and working harder than anyone else in the city is the reputation being built by Alan Smith & Patrick Keenan of The Movement. The growth in influence, talent, and manpower behind The Movement and it's strives for positive impact are something to be closely watched. Attracting attention from collaborators such as young designers, established scientists, publishing scholars, architectural collectives, and capital hungry startups has produced a distinctly diverse approach to solving problems. Books, R&E (research & envision reports), web applications, business models, lectures and futurecasts are common things to find sitting in an outbox at The Movement. The upcoming launch of the Movers program—a pioneering effort in the un-managed organization of symbiotic capital building collaborations—and it's ever growing portfolio of both social and economic paradigm shifts leaves us with a vision of The Movement as an entity of big-brother-esque reach with grassroots responsibility to everyone who hasn't heard of them, yet.
