I've always loved photography, but in August of 2007 I upgraded to my first DSLR, a Canon Rebel XT, after years of tinkering with a point and shoot. I've learned a lot via flickr, books, the internet, and other people, and I continue to learn everyday. I think I've improved and hope to continue to do so. I live in Smyrna, TN with my wife, Michelle, and our one-year-old son, Blake (who has been the subject of many photos over the last year).
I'm an application developer by day and I also play drums on the side.
