UK based artist working mainly with sweat and tears, endlessly toiling to try and escape the monotony of every day life, the shadow cast by consumerism and the shackles of full time employment.

Why do we do it? Because we have to, because on the page or on the wall there isn’t any government or dictating force, there’s just you and the vast emptiness in which you can create, in which you have absolute control. It is not about power its about freedom, it is about expression.

And at the end of the day, for all our technology, our computers, our phones. For all the things we are told we need, that we should have, that will make our lives happier and more fulfilled these things that we walk glumly in line to acquire. Im not sure they ever created anything more liberating than the pencil and the blank piece of paper.
