In short, I'm a lazy amateur photographer. I tend to forget to take photos of my everyday life and surroundings and mostly take photos when traveling, which is a lot less these days.

I never plan or go out of my way for shots, but enjoy to shoot whatever I come across that I find interesting. I strive for good composition, an original point of view and that elusive shot that really captures the moment.

Photographing people is a challenge and I still feel I owe good shots to luck rather than skill.

I finally managed to convert a great deal of old negatives and slides into digital images. Processing and posting them on Flickr is a slow and on-going process ...
