My photography obsession comes and goes in phases, but I've been more or less into it since the early 80s. Got my first 35mm when I was 15 or so and haven't looked back (I still own it and it still works). I worked as a film processor for a while when I was employed by a retail camera chain and spent many happy hours in a real darkroom; it's a chemical thing.

I'm exclusively an Olympus shooter and until recently was a slide film junkie, too. I've got a ton of lenses including a much drooled over 90mm macro Zuiko which I am so glad I can continue to use on the digital body. The film bodies get less and less use I'm afraid, even my beloved OM3.

There's a lot of jewelry photography here because that's my business and I need to host photos of my work somewhere.

As far as other subjects go, I love abandoned places, nature and macro. I haven't digitally uploaded much over the years because scanning my slides & negs is a PITA even with the Coolscan IV. I hardly know anything about photo processing with software, but think that's going to be something I'll need to learn eventually. As an old slide shooter, I have a bias of doing everything in camera even though that's very passe these days. What you do see has been tweaked, but not too much since I barely know what I'm doing with software.

Dec 09 - bought myself an Olympus E-30 and 12-60mm (24-120mm in ff or 35mm) lens to go with. It's a serious rig and I hope to do it justice. I'll be phasing out the E-300, but still using some legacy glass for sure since part of the reason I bought the E-30 is for an improved viewfinder to make focusing legacy glass easier.
