Hello, my name is Lev and I am a photo addict. The addiction started innocently enough when I got a film point&shoot camera on my birthday few years ago. I used it on trips, shot a few rolls, printed pictures at a one-hour lab and filed them away in photo albums.
Since many of my friends and relatives live far away I decided to get a scanner to be able to email the pictures. I liked it but scanning is pretty tedious and time consuming, so I decided to get a digital camera.
Wow, talk about immediate gratification! I guess this was the point of no return. I started taking the camera everywhere, not just on out of town trips and birthday parties. The fact that I could take hundreds of pictures without worrying about the cost of film contributed greatly to my fall into the inescapable clutches of photography.
Not getting enough out of my gateway two megapixel canon s10 point&shoot I started using 5 megapixel Minolta 7Hi. Holy macro, what a rush! But, alas, too much noise in that little sensor.
My fall is deeper and deeper - I now use a digital SLR camera. Man, you can get high ISO on this puppy!
If you have a cure for my condition let me know. I'm off to shoot up, down, and, of course, horizontally. See you in the viewfinder.
