Born in Halifax 1961. Still here. Attended Crossley & Porter School 1972-1979. Started work Department of Health & Social Security September 1979. Still there (now it's the Department for Work & Pensions). Joined Halifax Thespians 1977. Still there and am now Company Secretary. President of Halifax Gilbert & Sullivan Society. Treasurer of Batley Gilbert & Sullivan Society. Clerk to the Trustees, Joseph Crossley's Almshouses, Halifax. Methodist Local Preacher. Lifelong transport enthusiast. Glad to have finally achieved ambition of working on the buses - as a part time conductor with Yorkshire Heritage Bus Co (Halifax Joint Committee's heritage private hire fleet).
