Howdy and thanks for visiting my page, I'm Eric.

I'm 23 and currently reside in Grand Forks, North Dakota, working toward a degree in Aeronautics with a major in Commercial Aviation from the University of North Dakota. To get to know my photography, I think it would help to learn a little something about myself.

I was born in Dallas, Texas, lived in the nearby suburb of Coppell until I was three when my family moved to Parker, Colorado, just southeast of Denver. I graduated from Ponderosa High School in the class of 2004, and attended Fort Lewis College, in Durango, Colorado, for two years. All my life I've wanted to be a pilot, and it was during this time at FLC I came to the realization that being an aviator was within my grasp, so I transferred to UND in the fall of '06.

I am a Commercial Pilot holding Airplane Single Engine - Land and Airplane Multiengine - Land as well as Instrument - Airplane ratings, and in addition to that I am a Certified Flight Instructor to pay the bills and build flight time.

About my senior year in high school is when my interest in photography began to develop, first I started shooting mostly aircraft but right now I've kind of moved on from that (though I still occasionally enjoy spending time by a runway with the camera lens), right now I'm experimenting with high ISO photography, as well as dabbling with HDR.

I consider myself a night owl, I like to pack the camera gear in the car right as the last days light is fading on the horizon and go driving out in the country to see whatever I can find, and document the interesting tidbits. I like the Surreal stuff, and working with high ISO and HDR has allowed me to experiment with the surreal in a very vivid way.

At this point, I think I've described myself as much as I can, so I'll let the photos do the rest.
