The band was created by James Freimuth formerly of the bittersoundfase.He writes all of the lyrics and composes all of the music published.The band was started in August of 2008 in which Alex Buehner was introduced into the band.Nine months later Scott Woods was brought aboard as the now justified bass player.Last but not least are notorious super star drummer Darell Grey became a permanent fixture of "THE SHATTERBRAINS".
