The English Language Institute (ELI) is one of the departments of Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS). KUIS is a private university dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in international studies, particularly the study of foreign languages.

The Self-Access Learning Centre (SALC) at Kanda University of International Studies is a place where students can individualise their language learning and develop autonomous learning skills.
