My full name is Mona Lisa but please, don’t call me that if you value your life. Growing up, my acquaintances called me Mona, which I didn’t mind really. I just didn’t like it when they use the full name. In 1994, right after I graduated from college, I moved to Northern California where I started to introduce myself as Lisa. In 2000 I officially cut my name to simply Lisa. Common name but I like it.

I have a degree in Psychology. A few months ago, I was just looking at my transcript and realized that I had very good grades in almost all of my major subjects, except Industrial Psychology. The funny thing is, industrial psychology is the area of work I ended up working in.

One of my favorite things in the world is being woken up by the alarm clock at 5AM on a Friday. I reach to the nightstand to turn off the alarm and then it dawns on me that I can ignore the alarm and I don’t have to get up because Friday is my day off! I usually then go back to bed with a smile on my face.

If I had my way, I would spend the rest of my life traveling. The cities I just love to visit are London, Paris, Vancouver, and Santa Barbara in California. One of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever visited is Austria and before I die, I vow to return and run in the hills ala Maria von Trapp.

Vincent van Gogh once said, “I know nothing with certainty, but the sight of stars makes me dream.” When I see stars, I dream of one day writing and publishing a book. I've had this dream since I was a little girl and I think it will never come true but I continue to dream anyway. Besides, it doesn’t cost me anything.
