I'm a front end web developer from New Jersey, working in New York City. I photographed some in college, but stepped away from it for several years before returning to few years ago. I shot a lot of photos digitally with my Canon Digital Rebel for a few years, but found that my pictures were getting worse with practice, not better. I returned to film in an attempt to shake things up and in particular have developed an interest in toy cameras. I found my first toy camera, a Diana-F, in a thrift shop in Levittown, Pennsylvania, for a dollar, which is kind of the holy grail of toy camerahood. I have since acquired a bunch of other cameras, and branched out into Polaroids in addition to the toy cameras. More recently, I've been playing with rangefinders like my Canonet QL19, Kodak Retina Ia, Kiev II and Kiev 4, plus a couple of SLRs (Pentax K1000 and Kiev 88cm). I have way too many cameras.
