  There are some streams I browse through on grey days, again and again, when the wind is too high for photographs and the rain would soak the film, and those are the days when I find myself back here, reading these photographs and reading these words. This is the stream which speaks to me, whispers and shouts, and makes me want to run and climb and shoot. This girl has been hurt and she has fought and she has won, and she has been making photographs the whole time to prove it. If there is cotton in their ears she shows them with her images, and if their eyes are closed she’ll tell them with her words.
