I'm one of those people who likes to document. I used to have a stack of VHS tapes filled with important news events. Then I realized that there are plenty of people out there that do a better job of documenting the rest of the world than me. So, I decided to document my own life and as a result I have waaaay too many pictures on this site. Big brother doesn't need to install cameras in my apartment because I've essentially already done it. So, that's my philosophy on picture taking--I love documenting personal things and I love seeing other folks pictures documenting things in their lives. It makes me feel less unique--in a good way :) Of course, because I emphasize documentation, style is less of a concern, but hey, I like a nicely shot picture, too.

I'm a writer by trade. :) (Sorry, that's not very photographically interesting, though you can watch me finish my 6th novel.) If anyone knows a publisher or lit agent (I write scifi, speculative fiction, novels, short stories and screenplays), send 'em my way, will ya? I need one of each :)
