My name is Theodore Stark and I am a very serious amateur photographer living in the Denver-metro area.

My interest in photography peaked after several life changing events that occurred in the summer of 2002. These events literally changed my perspective on life and how I saw the world around me. This perspective was unique and so, I decided to share it with others through the medium of photography.


The goal of my work, currently, is to provoke thought. For a photograph to truly work, it must make you ponder, evoke emotion, and possibly even dream.

Photographs very rarely (if ever) depict reality. As you examine my work, as you examine any photographer’s works, keep in mind that you are seeing only what we want you to see and nothing more. Because of this belief, you will find many of my portfolio pieces in black and white. Not all images have to be in black and white. But, I think it adds another layer to provoking thought and further solidifies that what you are seeing is not real. After all, no one sees in black and white.
