The May Bees photos' photostream

Indie rock band originated from Arnhem, the Netherlands. The May Bees released three albums Fake Around EP (Stereostore, 2005), Blame It On The Other Ones (Stereostore, 2006) and Drop Little Boy (Wampus, 2007). All of these records got excellent reviews, a lot of airplay and ended up high in various charts. The band played gigs nationwide (including supports for Frank Black, The Drones, Air Traffic, Bettie Serveert and Caesar) and toured successfully through the east coast of the USA and Canada.

Since the band's formation late 2004, it experienced some personnel changes, but always maintained the presence of principal songwriter Gregory Orange. The May Bees' work is based on Gregory's love for pure and intense rock songs in the tradition of Guided By Voices, Pixies, Sebadoh, Dinosaur Jr. and with the spirit of bands like Nirvana, Grandaddy, Radiohead.

In 2009 the band recorded their latest album with producer Todd Tobias (Guided by Voices, Robert Pollard, Circus Devils etc.) in Ohio. This record will be released in 2011.
