The Japanese Paper Place encourages creativity through the use of Japanese paper by importing and distributing it worldwide. Through hosting exhibitions of artworks on washi, offering workshops to inspire the use of Japanese paper, helping Japanese papermakers to see what creative people outside Japan are doing with it, and through presentations and lectures on its creative use, we hope to help its continuity of production, its appreciation and its effective use around the world.
