I am an amateur rockhound. I also write. Sometimes the two collide. I have written poems about rocks, crystals and prospecting. Two are in my book From Here to Never that can be found at my website: www.thejeffhowe.com. They are titled Rocks in My Head and Krystallos. I have another titled Mt. Apatite, but that didn't make it into this book. I am currently working on a story that is based in western Maine and has a strong rock prospecting theme. It is fiction, but I draw upon my experiences while writing it. Any artwork I post here is my own work. I don't produce any more; I haven't since 2000 when I decided to stop doing shows.
