Jae & Mimz are a Husband & Wife, Christian songwriting team. They have made numerous television & radio appearances. They have played a huge amount of shows together. They Co-wrote on many of Jae's solo albums and are currently writing and recording Mimz's debut album. Jae Bedford a Dunedin born, Wellington Based Singer/Songwriter and his Wife Miriam 'Mimz' Bedford (Invercargill born, Oamaru raised singer/songwriter)care more about the songs than 'some dumb trend'. They love playing live and have performed all over New Zealand. Jae & Mimz have made many Tv and radio appearances. Jae is a graduate of the Nelson school of music and has written for many succesful New Zealand bands such as Dust n Bones, Commercial 500, The Rebels, Jaded, Stark Raving and Fallen Angel. Jae worked @ the legendary Fortune theater in Dunedin and with the help of Mimz they ran Song Poets' Corner Music Inc. Miriam graduated from Vision College school of music( Christchurch) in 2009 having gained her Level 7 Diploma in Performance Music and Level 4 cert in Ministry. Jae & Mimz both now work for Downstage Theatre Company.

Mimz & Jae have many recordings under their belts. Jae has recorded several solo albums and Mimz and Jae can be found on the albums-Mimz & The Jae Bedford Band-Live n' Kickin, Jae Bedford-Telling stories with chords, Jae Bedford Souvenirs and about to release 'One night stand'-Mimz & The Jae Bedford Band Live @ The Fortune Theatre. They are currently recording a new album together titled-Mimz & Jae Bedford-The otherside of me. Mimz is also working on her solo album 'A Walk in my shoes'. An album not to be missed :)
