Chad Carns' obsession with the culinary attitude of Greenwich Village has inspired him to put his Graphic Design career on hold to write The Gourmet Bachelor cookbook - Global Flavor, Local Ingredients .

Chad grew up in a diverse family passionate about food. He remembers watching his grandmother mold one egg, a cup of flour and a splash of water into Sunday dinner. Chad studied global cuisine and wine at the Institute of Culinary Education and developed the recipes & pairings with top international chefs and wine experts.
